Made leek with the leeks and potatoes from this weeks farm box. Wishing I had some fresh crusty bread to dip in. Going back for seconds... and plenty for lunch! Make it yourself.

Funny thing, it doesn't look that good to me. (No offense.) But from what I know of leeks and potatoes, I know that it is good. Isn't it strange that I would eagerly eat food the color of the Wicked Witch of the West ?

Have you tried leeks with sweet potatoes? I haven't, but it's the right time of year. Can you imagine the funny shade of brown that would make?

Yay for leeks! Sweet, yummy, oniony goodness. and a Welsh national emblem!
